We monitor and report food waste on a daily basis

In schools, we sell waste lunch on school days:

  • Hatsala Classical School 12.45 p.m.–1.15 p.m.
  • Martti Ahtisaari School 12.30 p.m.–1 p.m.
  • Pirtti School 12.30 p.m.–1 p.m.
  • Pyörö School (Ylä-Pyörö) 12.15 p.m.–12.45 p.m.

There are daily notifications on the school door about the availability of waste food. A meal can consist of the entire main meal or just parts of it. Drinks, bread and spreads can also be served. Each serving costs EUR 1.70 and must be enjoyed on site. The implementation of special diets cannot be guaranteed for food left over from the food serving of the day.

We also sell leftover food to take home on weekdays:
